Week 5: Bringing Characters to Life

Earlier this week I group met and we created this pintrest board to keep track of some visual inspirations here.

Using this board as inspiration, I first used MakeHuman to create my character, but I found the interface limiting and I couldn’t create the character that I had formulated in my mind. Next, I tried Fuse and I found that I had a lot of more options when creating my character.

After I created my character, I imported it into Mixamo to animate it.

After animating it, I brought it into Unreal. (There was some trial and error)

I then started experimenting with different variations of my character.
